Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Handled service ("Service") operated by Coordinated Inc. ("Company," "we," "us"). By texting our phone number or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Handled is an SMS-based planning assistant that provides curated activity, dining, and event recommendations. You text our phone number describing what you want to do, we ask up to two clarifying questions, and send you a curated set of recommendations with booking links. For group plans, we provide a web-based voting page where participants choose their preferred option.

The Service is currently available in the San Francisco Bay Area, with expansion to additional metros planned.

2. SMS/MMS Terms

SMS Consent and Opt-In

By sending a text message to our phone number, you expressly consent to receive SMS and MMS messages from Handled (Coordinated Inc.) at the phone number you texted from. Messages you may receive include:

Message frequency varies based on your activity. A typical plan involves 3–8 messages. You will not receive more than 15 messages per day under any circumstances.

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details on your messaging plan.

3. Opting Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to our phone number. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts. You may opt back in by texting START or any new plan request.

4. Data Deletion

You may request complete deletion of all your data by texting DELETE MY DATA to our phone number. We will permanently remove your profile, plan history, preference data, and all associated records within 30 days and confirm via SMS.

5. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

6. Recommendations and Third-Party Services

Handled provides recommendations for restaurants, activities, and events operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, availability, or accuracy of third-party offerings. Booking links may direct you to third-party websites governed by their own terms.

7. Affiliate Disclosure

We may earn affiliate commissions or referral fees when you book through links we provide. This does not affect the price you pay and does not influence which recommendations we make.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and all recommendations are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any venue, event, or activity recommended.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coordinated Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed $100.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, send abusive or threatening messages, attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service, or use automated systems to send messages to our phone number.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including recommendation algorithms, editorial content, and interface design, is the property of Coordinated Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
